I am a Mac User.....I run OS X on my iBook which is old enough to not have firewire. I use my Mom's computer which has Windows XP with my iPod.
Today I wanted to "borrow" a few applications from an eMac, with firewire. These programs had file names that included symbols....one i remember is a "/". I figured out that these characters, would not be copied onto my Windows formatted iPod. So.....I tried reformatting the volume of the non music section.......it deleted all my music, but i dont really care, its backed up on my home Windows XP machine.
So I got the applications on, after reformatting to HFS format....
Now back to the Windows XP machine.
I downloaded a program for windows called Burn4Free. Lets you burn data to a CD. It worked for 2 CDs. I have one more thing i need to burn, but all of a sudden i get an "Access denied" error when copying the files to the PC. It crashes the program when you drag and drop to it now. So all of a sudden I can't burn the last CD, can anyone help me out.
Thank you very much, if you help me out, email me and i'll try to return the favor to you, thanks in advance.
