HELP! I can't play purchased music.

Using Windows, I of course had to reinstall my OS. Now I tunes says I cannot play my purchased music because I am not authorized, and it will not transfer it to my Ipod.

I am a bit of a tweaker so:

OS is on C:
Itunes music folder is on E:\Itunes
Library playlist is D:profiles\music\Itunes

I cannot find my purchased music playlist

please help.

Can't you just go back and re-open your account with the itunes store?

Apple support gave me the answer! Isn't that a switch?!? (no pun)

I have to play each song in itunes, where I will be prompted to re-authorize the song (not the computer). Once this ios done it will upload to the ipod.

Considering that I am an IT guy and re-install OS every 3 months, I am going to cosider ephpod or the money for aupod.
