I bought a 2005 Acura TSX w/ Nav back in April 2005 and have been looking into a direct connect ipod solution since. I've heard various things about the Denison Ice>Link, but wasn't sold on it. If you can sell me otherwise please do.

Recently I've been looking at the Neo iOn available at mp3yourcar.com. I like the fact that they claim it will work with my navi system (with an added piece) and leaves the controls on the ipod fully functional, as well as enabling stearing wheel and main stereo controls.

Does anyone have experience with this product? I am planning on getting it professionally installed because I really do not want to damage my nav system.

I'm going to be making the move soon so quick responses are appreciated.

Okay so I got impatient and ordered the Neo iOn. I just had it installed by a local hole in the wall audio place in West LA. The reason that I took it to them rather than attempt to do it myself is that I have a navi system that I really didn't want to mess up.

The install cost $100 and I got my car back in about 3 hours.

So far everything works exactly as I had hoped. I am able to change the track on my ipod using my stearing wheel controls, the stereo controls, or my ipod directly. The ipod display is fully functional as well. My nav system is still working to perfection. Best of all when I change sources, say from the iPod to the CD player or radio, the iPod automatically pauses, but continues to charge.

I knew that I'd lose my factory installed XM capabilities, but I was okay with this since I didn't subscribe to XM after my initial 3 month trial.

I definitely recommend the Neo iOn found at Mp3YourCar.com. And I just want to point out that I have absolutely ZERO connection to the site or that company and am not getting anything in return for this post.

Feel free to post or email me with any questions.:D

I just wanted to add a second positive vote for the Neo iOn. I have it installed in my 2005 TSX Non-Navi. I've had it for more than a year and it is an excellent solution. I love that it charges the iPod and that I can skip tracks with my steering wheel controls. Not to mention the sound quality is excellent.

The reason I chose the Neo iOn over the ice>Link is that it does not take control of your iPod UI. You can still use the iPod as you would if it were plugged into headphones. From what I understand, this is possible with the ice>Link, but it's normal mode is to take over the iPod UI with its own. I like simple solutions.

I understand wanting to have it professionally installed if you have Nav, but I don't, so I installed it myself. It was super-easy. I have pictures up here: http://www.tangledupsidedown.com/ipod.html
