Have a Toshiba laptop - use Windows XP. Ever since I installed the IPOD (which has since been taken off), my USB floppy and USB zip drive won't work. I've taken off all the IPOD software - I've uninstalled the floppy and zip - then reinstalled - all with no help. Keeps asking me to format the disk when I put one in the zip or floppy. It is not the USB port or the floppy or zip (as the USB port works with a palm pilot and the drives work on other lap tops. I've tried to restore the registry to before I installed the IPOD, but no help. I figured there is still some conflict - but when I have nothing else startup, it still does not work. Can anyone please help advise me - the computer recognizes the drives, but somehow they're not working.
