do not disconnect flashing

hi there

I plugged my connection into my mac today to charge up the battery and when it was complete I dumped the icon in the bin, but the do not disconnect target did not dissappear off the screen. Now I cannot do anything with it and have had to diconnect the lead upon shutting down the mac. I tried restarting the mac but no ipod icon apearing on desktop.

Any solutions on this on how to get it back to working order?

Reset the iPod, Restart your mac.

You may need to reset the iPod once or twice while connected to your computer.

I'm a little confused by your initial message what your actual issue is. Is the Do Not disconnect still there even after you pulled the plug? Reset the iPod. Is your iPod no longer recognized by the mac? Follow the link in my signature for "iPod not recognized"
