Does anyone know if there are any plans to produce an adapter which will allow you to recieve and listen to Xm stations?

XM Satellite radio? There's been a great deal of talk (some about inevitability, some about how unlikely it is.) Personally, I've not read anything recently talking about this...so a guess is as far as I can go.

Here are some links for you, though. The first is a pretty good XM forum, where they keep up with this sort of thing:

Then a couple of year-old articles, talking about how likely (or unlikely) a synthesis device is (for XM or Sirius):

As for listening to XM broadcasts on your pod, technically you already can. The MyFi will allow you to record hours worth of broadcast, which you can then drag over as an mp3 file. Not "live" but listenable. Not sure about Sirius, but I think their new portable has a similar feature.

However (stepping onto soapbox) I've dumped XM since they saw fit to toss all of their world music off of their satellites. Since then we've bought 3 iPods, and 200cds worth of music, instead. BAD XM! (stepping off of soapbox.) :)
