Hey Guys, Im new to this forum and would like to know whether I can jog/run with and iPod Photo/Colour 20GB. Will it skip, or will it start to degrade after continuos running sessions? Should I buy an armband? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

personally, i think it weighs too much for running. i have a 20gb photo, & have come to the conclusion that it would simply be easier to buy an inexpensive, small, flash memory mp3 player or the shuffle, so u don't have to worry about weight. but if u want to run w/ or w/o a 20gb, an armband is always a good idea

I jog all the time with my 20GB color with an armband. While it is kind of bulky, it never has skipped on me. I'd highly recommend getting and armband if you want to jog with it.

Thanks a bunch, I went out and purchased an armband, and went to the gym and was very pleased with the results. No skipping what so ever. Thanks for all the helo :)

Keep in mind it is still a hard drive so if it were to fall the write head could touch the platter. I dont think jogging with an ipod (that contains a hard drive) is really the safest thing to do.
