Total Number of Songs

well i have only just noticed that when my iPod is plugged into my laptop and playing through iTunes i have 3607 songs, i have added 2 albums today ejected my iPod etc and noticed my total number of songs is still on 3495 when i look through all my artists it seems they are all on there but why hasnt the number changed!?

But when i go to the 'About' section on my iPod it does say there are 3607 songs on the iPod so why does the number show 3495 when i play my songs

the songs are there, but the ipod doesnt count them on the "About" screen? try resetting the ipod, and then if that doesnt work, hook ipod up to computer, right click on ipod icon in iTunes, and select ipod options. there might be something in there that isnt checked. good luck.

I've got the same type of problem. I recently took tons of songs off my ipod. Itunes reflects the fact that I have about 10 GB free. But the ABOUT section of my ipod says I only have 8.1 GB available.
