Headphones - anything from Grado
Earphones - Sony MDR-EX71 or Shure E2C
Grado? First time I heard that. Anyway, where can I buy Grado Headphones and which model should I buy?

Headphones: Koss PortaPros [If You Like Bass!] -- I've heard lots of good things about the Grado SR60 and The Sennheiser PX Series.
EarBuds: Sennheiser MX500 and Shure E2
www.headphone.com for your headphone needs, and amazon.com for earbuds. The Shure's, you'll have to buy from ebay, shure.com, or a local reseller.
Grado SR 60's can't be beat for nonportable listening, especially for the price, roughly $70.00. The grado's, IMHO, outperform the Bose Triports, and at a fraction of the cost. They represent true audiophile level quality.
For earphones, the E2's are fantastic for the money, about $80.00. Not as good as the Grado's, but the key is they are portable--great for the gym or out and about, and give wonderful isolation.
