Is it better to turn off the ipod by holding down the play/pause button, or just pausing it and letting go into sleep mode by itself?

If I recall correctly, both do exactly the same thing, so you don't need to do the manual sleep... Please correct me if I'm wrong!

If you pause a song and leave it at that state for two minutes, it'll go to sleep. If you put it to sleep manually by holding down that play/pause button, you save that much time. It's worth it to me. :D
