Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. These UE Super-fi 5 Pro's are THE best accessory I have bought for my iPod! Sound is crystal clear and the Base is strong and solid. (Perfect for the Rock and Alternative I listen to) They make my $40 Sonys sound generic!! They make EVERYTHING sound generic!!
I have found there is now no need to turn my volume all the way up anymore. These things are so fricking loud and clear it is almost painful to do so!! Very impressive....2 thumbs WAY up!!

I just returned my UE Super-fi 3 studio and upgraded to the 5 pro. Big difference. Excellent bass and fuller sound. Glad I traded up.

UE super.fi 3 is not even in the same league as the EB or Pro series. They are a good start, but they wont take you where you wanna go =D

I hear static when music is paused w/the super.fi 3 and now w/the 5 pro on my 60 gig 5g. I don't hear static with the stock ear buds. Is this normal? I asked earlier and no one answered. Anyone?

yes it is normal, i think you're refering to impedence level. Does this happen when you turn the volume off? An easy way to fix it would to use an attenuator

It does go away when the volume is off. It doesn't get louder when I turn the volume up when paused.
I tried the attenuator and it worked.
Thanks

Thanks for the info! Looks like I have to get the 5 pros. I do like the studio 3s so i can only imagine how great the 5 pros are!
