Very interesting product. I want to try it out!!
I think this is a very good alternative to any other iPod protective covers out there.
I think this will give extra protection to my iPod when I take it out (for show-off or docking) from iSkin time to time.
I'm also thinking about using this on my cellphone and laptop.
and best of all, it's only $10.

Hmm... not too bad. I'll have to point these out to my dad-- He's worried he'll drop his Ti-Book... it's too smooth ;)
Let us know whether or not it ruins the glove-like fit of your iSkin.

That is an intersting product! Please post a review when you recieve them. I would feel uncomfortable hanging my iPod on the dash of a moving car, relying on nothing but friction. I'd have to see someone else do it first. :)
The review on mobileburn.com shows some really cool pictures. The Egrips actually look pretty nice. Reminds me of aftermarket wood dash trimming for cars. He even has his cellphone gripping vertically to his steering wheel. Do you think you can find this kind of material at Home Depot? I think i'll give these a try too....

UPDATED!!
I received the iPod Smooth egrips (Silver) today!
here're the pics.

There're two air bubbles which I cannot get rid of. I tried to peel the egrip, but the gel started separate from the adhesive.

As you can see, the hole for the serial number and model name isn't big enough.

"Look ma! It's iPider!" My iPod can be attached to any smooth surface even at 90 degrees.

Left: General Purpose Dimpled egrips (.022" thick), Right: iPod egrips (.017" thick) The Smooth Gloss version (thinner material) was used, so that iPod can still be docked.
PROS:
1. It really sticks!
2. Protects back of iPod
3. Can be used as case, an alternative to iSkin
4. Awesome grip. You will never drop your iPod again!
5. Affordable ($10 + $5 shipping)
6. It comes with small alcohol wipe for cleaning the surface before applying.
CONS:
1. It picks up lints and dust like iSkin
2. Bottom hole isn't big enough
3. Hard to put on iSkin over egrips
4. Fairly hard to remove eGrip from the back of iPod.
CONCLUSION:
1. This is a good alternative to iSkin if you don't like the space that iSkin occupies.
2. If you have an iSkin and you like to dock alot, you should get this product to gives some extra protection when iSkin can't.
3. Recommended for people who listen to iPod in the car frequently. It protects from bumpy ride and sliding. You can even put it on the dash board and not worry about it.
