Ok, I plan on buying new headphones soon and I have narrowed it down to 3 choices.

Sharp HP-MD33S
Panasonic RP-HJE50
Audio-Technica ATH-CK5

I have heard good things about all three from reading reviews. What I'd like to know is what do you guys think? My dad has a pair of EX51's and they sound ok to me, just not that clear. Are these more clearer? Also my question is bass. I'd like to hear a good amount of bass. The bass I heard with the EX51's wasn't that bad but did sound a little too much. So which is the better buy? So far I am leaning toward the MD33's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We should just start quoting the poor guy. He has to repeat himself so much ^_^;;

I'd consider the Sennheiser CX 300 as well if I were you

For bass I recommend the HJE70.

I know they're more expensive - £52 in the UK, $89 in the USA, but well worth the extra.

If you don't want a lot of bass then the HJE50, and the HA FX55 are excellent alternatives to the EX51/71.
