hi,

i lost my 40gig ipod a few weeks ago, bought a little nano, deleted my library and started to build a new one again. I've now found my 40gig one and want to know if I can plug my 40gig into my computer and take the library off if, without wiping the whole thing. I want to do this without copying all the songs to my pc. Any ideas to how I can do this?

Then hopefully I'll have 2 libraries that I can swap between and use both my ipods!

Cheers fo rany help,

Chris

if you're talking about putting all the songs from your ipod into your library. if so for windows then.

in the featured software section above. click it and look for podutil and download it.

not really- all the songs on my ipod are on my computer already, i just want to remove an 'itunes music database file' from my ipod so that its on my puter again, not actually take the song files so that they are on my puter!

does taht make sense?
