hi there! i'm new to the forums, tho i've been browsing the postings for a while. some great info here! thank you!

i recently purchased a new 60gb iPod w/ Video, and i am looking to buy a case for it.

i've narrowed it down to two items, but was hoping for a bit of feedback first. i should note that i picked up the DLO Action Jacket, but i don't like it at all... going back today.

i love the Speck ToughSkin model for it's ruggedness.

i love the Agent 18 ClickShield, also, because i can easily snap off the case to use in my inMotion setup.

i've read a lot about the Power Support films, also. those look good.

my questions:

1. is the Speck model easy to get on and off? like i said, i want something i can easily take it out of to use with the inMotion.

2. how is the fit of the 60gb ClickShield model? i use one on my 60gb iPod Photo and it's perfect. but when i tried the 60gb iPod Video in it, well... wrong size altogether.

also, is the ClickShield for this model easy to get on and off?

3. lastly, the Power Support films - do they work with either the Speck ToughSkin or the Agent 18 ClickShield? is there enough room for both film and case?

my gratitude if anyone can assist. thank you!

peace

Speck ToughSkin is quite a loose fit, too loose to be effective really but it is easy to get on and off........

There is an Agent 18 model specifically for iPod with video, it is called VideoShield. Check out their website.

mine is a bit tight and i have a little trouble getting the touchskin on and off very easily... well i gues its not very tight but it does take a little force to get it out.

How is it not answering the question? You asked why the Agent 18 60gig Clickshield seemed to be a loose fit for the 5th Gen, and I answered by telling you that there is a shield especially for the 5th Gen.

dude, the 60gb photo and the 60 gb video are two different sized ipods. SO whatever clickshield you used with the photo isn't going to fit the video, Einstein. He DID answer your question, but you failed to check the agent 18 website to realize that there are different sizes.

JMG, thanks for the unhelpful, off-topic, persnickity know-it-all reply. you're a peach!

Amelie, again, thanks for your reply before... i appreciate the help, but i used the wrong product name (should've said VideoShield, not ClickShield). my bad. i had checked the website before posting. i simply had the old ClickShield here, and tried it on. guess that makes me an Einstein, eh? lol!

peace.
