Very nice--I paid $80.00 including shipping. You're going to love them...

I hope you love them more than i do...

Sound quality is fantastic...but for me, comfort/fit is wrong. I cannot wear them; makes my ears hurt for couple days.

I am presently mod'ing the smallest foamy earpieces to be more cone-shaped/smaller. The foam is pretty dense and just does not fit my ear canal comfortably (The rubbers are even worse). *Squishier* foamies would be nice!

I really want to like these things!

Good luck!

also, could you post the seller? i'd like to try a pair if they have any chance of being comfortable under my helmet...

Jiggles,

If the padding in your helmet has cutouts at the ears, then these should fit. They really sit inside your ear, leaving just a small bit of the casing sticking out.

However, the isolation provided by these might be a *problem* for you while riding!! You will NOT likely hear that bus about to run you down from behind. :O

I've been to India (Bangalore & Mumbai - for work) and I must say that drivers there are quite *CRAZY* :). Though, I did notice a bit of a "common consciousness" among all the drivers. While all appears to be in chaos, I did not see a single accident! They all know in advance what the other drvier will do....

Good luck and ride safely!! :) :)

Nice price. I paid $79 at Guitar Center.

One piece of advice for future Shure users-- Don't use the included wind-up case... it winds the cords too tight.

I say this because after 3 months of use, my first pair developed a crackle in my right ear, dependent upon the position of the cord near the plug. Something had broken internally.

I am convinced that it is because of the ridiculously tight winding in the included case.

I got my set replaced using my $19 Guitar Center no-questions-asked, unconditional 2-year replacement warranty. (And SOMEHOW, my 2 years reset with the replacement-- it's basically infinite, then... if things keep going wrong. :D ).

I now use a spring-loaded sunglass case (You know... the snap-close clamshell things). It is strong, not too large, and allows the Shures to rest when stored ;)

Really? The Shure Case is bad... I've been using that for the past couple weeks. The sunglass case is a good idea though. I might have to try that. I never did like the Shure case though. It scrunched up the foamies too much, leaving it deformed for about 3 days after taking it out of the case.

I wear my E2's under my helmet every day with no issues and I currently have a crappy helmet that has no cut outs at the ears. It took a bit to get the best position in my ear for sound and comfortbut now it's perfect with no discomfort
