Itunes and Quicktime not working

I keep on downloading Itunes and everything downloads fine but then after installing a pop-up comes up saying "QUICKTIME INSTALLATION FAILED ERROR CODE:-3"and then after I click ok on that another pop-up says "INSTALLSHIELD 1628: Failed to complete installation" and then a 3rd pop-up says something like "Itunes cannot run. It is missing some parts. Please reinstall Ituned and try again" I have been reinstalling for several months and it still won't work. How do I fix this and/or what is another program that will upload songs to my iPod? Thanks

You can use your "system restore" and go back 4 weeks and then reinstall iTunes and see if it will install. You can also use your windows install disk to repair your windows OS. When you donwload software and uninstall software it will also remove other items needed for software to install.
