Problem transfering 7 gig file onto my 30 gig video ipod

Hi, I'm having trouble trying to put a 7 gigabit file from my pc onto the hardrive of my 30 gig video ipod. I have stored other files on my ipod before, the largest being a 650 mb file so i know i can do it. When I go to drag and drop this 7 gig file into my ipod, via the removeable hardrive icon under My Computer settings, it say "The Disk in the destination drive is full". This is not true however because I have over 22 gigs free on it. Please help if you can, this is really killing me. Thanks.

Ipod's are formatted as FAT32 drives under windows. FAT32 only supports files sizes to a maximum of 4GB. You will have to try and divide the file and transfer it that way.
