im so sorry if this question is somewhere in this forum but i have looked back a few...

anyway ive bought a new laptop, but my ipod has always been used on my family computer

now my music isnt an issue because ive saved my whole library onto a DVD RW...

what id like to know is, if my laptop will automatically recognise and accept my ipod... do i just have to download the latest ipod/itunes?? or do i have to load on the original cd my ipod came with?

thanks! :)

Hi. DL itunes and load your library back on as it was on the family PC. Then yes, you will need to load the CD that came with the ipod. Once you have done that connect the ipod and it will ask you if you would like to make this your library. You answer yes and it will clear and load your new library.

Then if you want to you can visit www.apple.com for the latest ipod updater and run it after this is done.

Good luck !!
