I use the ipod video 30G with the latest itunes version.
When i am not connected to the network at work everything works fine, but when i am connected itunes tells me there is not enough room on the ipod,... but that is a lie.
Allso the name of the ipod shanges when i sync during networkconnection.
I am really puzzeled,.. could not find anything related on the forum.
Does anyone have some suggestions?

Are you accessing the ipod OVER the network? Like from another computer? If so it may be a password issue. if you are using the ipod on the computer it is attached to then your company may have some kind of server software that scans the clients computers for either back up application or virus scanning that could be seeing your ipod as a network hard drive.

I am not using the IPod over the network. Just using USB port.
There might be some scanning software installed, but i find it strange that it only works when connected to the network.

Try hooking it up with the network cable hooked up, but an invalid IP address (169.xxx.xxx.xxx) and see if it's a problem with being on ANY network or if it is something scanning your machine over the network.

It could be the network is not allowing iTunes access to the web and it is freezing it. Like how some companies block web pages.
