Recharge WITHOUT resetting "now Playing"?

G'day all, I've got a problem....

I listen to a lot of audiobooks, and the tracks are sometimes longer than my battery life.

Each time i use the Sync Cable to charge my Nano 4GB it resets my "now playing" ....!

Very freaking annoying.... i have to work out where i was in the book each time... its like loosing the bookmark every 4 hours !!

the Laptop i charge with has not got Itunes installed, just the PC at home....

in iTunes, select your audiobooks, and hit control-i.

Click Options. Then click 'remember playback position.'

you can get an AC adapter, and charge from an outlet while listening.
