Sony MDR-EX71SLW from Amazon UK On March 21, 2005, but the cord has disintegrated.

What is my best option in returning it or having a replacement? I looked on Amazon and you can only return goods within 30 days of purchase, and I can't find anything on the Sony UK website regarding returns.

Shall I just sell it?

Never mind, Amazon UK is sending me a replacement + £10 voucher codes! Amazon is the best!

Please let me know how you got sony to replace your ex71's for FREE. I have the same problem with two pairs that I purchased from Amazon last year. When I contacted Sony, all they would do was replace them for $35us since the purchase was greater than 90 days. This was about the same price I paid for them through Amazon. They #### ME OFF!

Just email Amazon and complain. Say that it's a common fault and that many customers have the same problem. Say that you cannot contact Sony regarding warranty, bla bla... Make is sound convincing... My replacement arrived this morning. :D
