Cleaning Shure E3 buds?

I purchased a pair of the white triple flanged Shure buds, as the standard ones were not a good fit. However as they protrude into the ear more and are white, they are starting to discolour. Any ideas on cleaning them?

if they stick out, u can cut the stem
and for the cleaning, use warm water and hand soap
make sure u dry em before they are put back on yer shures

I don't have the triple flange so I've never had this problem, but I saw someone recommend an overnight hydrogen peroxide soak on another forum.
