I have the old 20 gb iPod so I can't decide if it or my Bose is at fault here but the problem is this - whenever I listen to my iPod on the sound dock, usually after about 15 or so songs, the iPod just freezes. At this point, I can't do anything until I push select and menu at the same time on the iPod. Anyone else have this problem. I know I need to update my iPod but I was wondering if I don't also have a faulty Bose???

BUMP - I'm assuming no one else (at least of those who have read this) have experienced this problem.

This has happened to me when using the Apple dock and my 3G 15GB. Don't know what causes it, but it forces me to reset the ipod when it happens if I want the buttons to work. It does keep playing music, though.

I have an ipod video 30G and have had my system freeze while using it on my treadmill don't know if the electronics interferred with it or not. (not even being docked) However reset did correct.

My ipods freezing also on my Bose docking station (we've update the ipod with all the latest updates). Works absolutely fine on headsets and in car, but not on docking station, plays about 3 songs and then freezes or starts jumping around like an old scratched record.
Boze have advised to take it to the nearest dealer to check whether it's the ipod or the docking station that's at fault. If docking station they're able to send it away to be repaired for you.
