Need help deciding on earbuds

I am looking to buy some new earbuds. I am looking for a nice pair that is black. My dad has one of the Sony MDR-EX51LP/EX71SL, not sure which but to me, they don't sound that good at all to me, must be my ears. The stock earbuds sound more to my liking imo. What are some good earbuds that have a good amount of bass and are at a affordable price. I am not a big audiophile, so I probably won't go with Shure just yet. Thanks guys. :)
