Can't start Itunes...

Right, through a disk (without internet) I installed Itunes and IpodUtil to my computer. I added my ipod and all the songs.
The disk drive stopped working, so I did a system restore (to before I set up Itunes).
Then I set up the internet and tried to download Itunes and quicktime.
Quicktime won't download, and when Itunes does, It cannot start. A 'not responding' message pops up.

Any idea? Thanks.:(

i had a wierd problem like this i couldnt get quicktime to download for some odd reason. what i did was completly uninstall everything with ipod then i downloaded the cd and if quicktime still doesnt come up u can download the quicktime by itself from the quicktime website im not sure were the stand alone download is but i know its somewhere on that site.

Now for the small matter of Itunes.
