I've been looking fora really good case for my 30gb black ipod video.. I've been using the skin case it came with, leaving the clear overlay for the front on, for the past couple months while I've been looking for a really nice case that I could use for a long time. The back and sides of the ipod are starting to get scratched up, and it's really annoying me. After looking through a variety of cases, I've decided on getting BSE for sure, just for scratch protection and also some sort of harder case(ie. silicone, plastic, aluminum, etc.) My main problem, I'm not sure which case to select. I'm not too worried about a bulky size, as long as it'll still fit in my pocket. Price-wise, I just want something less than $50. The main three I'm looking at are eVo3, Agent 18, and corecases. I don't particularly like the look of core cases, but they seem to be very efficient in protecting an ipod. Agent 18 looks decent with a black ipod, and it leaves my ipod's shape and design alone, which is pretty cool. But as a hard plastic case, I would assume that dropping it would affect my ipod itself more than a slightly softer case would. I've heard that it also scratches a lot easier than most cases, especially since it's clear. eVo3 looks pretty good, at least in the pictures, but I've heard of a huge lint problems and that it adds a bit of bulk. Can it still fit in your pants or hoodie pocket without having too much resistance?
This is all assuming that these cases work perfectly fine with BSE..
Anyway, I know this is like.. a huuuge first post, but.. I'm just trying to find the best case possible. Anyway, if anyone out there has any opinions about a specific case.. please let me know!
