Hi,

I just got my iPod 60gb yesterday. It's great and I like it, but it is very annoying when you dock the iPod, iTunes also launches. I don't use iTunes for my iPod. I use Anapod, which is much better than iTunes <sorry>.

Is there a way to stop iTunes from launching when I dock my iPod?

Thanks!

When iTunes launches next time, go to the iPods preferences and uncheck the box that says "Launch iTunes when this iPod is connected"

It's funny how frustrating it can be, as i'm trying to achieve the exact same opposite. ;o) I run iTunes on my HTPC, which only a a remote control as an input device. So i'm synching my iPod on that PC, i'd like to have iTunes to launch whenever i plug my iPod in.. but it doesn't work.. I guess i'm gonna have to try annapod, it the software supports this.
