Thinking of giving my 2nd gen Ipod to someone who uses a PC. Can he still use it?

yes, u or he/she will need to download the windows updater from apple's site and run it.

it will convert the mac format to the windows format. took about 5 mins for it to format on my pc running win xp pro. then just download and use musicmatch jukebox 7.1 for the ipod to transfer the mp3's onto the ipod,

or the person can use ephpod or xplay. ephpod is free, xplay i think is $29.99.

also, the person will obviously need a firewire port also. i just did all of this over the weekend and everything worked great. i use ephpod over musicmatch jukebox 7.1.
