Well I've been reading these forums for some time and never found a reason to join, until now. I don't use the cheap ### Ear-Phones that come with the iPod so before I eye shotted them all over and threw them away inside some kids back-pack I decided to paint them black instead.....Realizing how hard that #### would be I jumped ships and decided to honor these forums with an iLounge themed 'Phones.
I basically jacked some orange electrical tape from my brothers tool box along with some white electrical tape also.
I measured the OBVIOUS and cut accordingly........Then after some common sense taping I came up on this.

I wrapped the tape around the Ear-Phone piece until it was covering the 'grey' section of the part you insert in your ear then I cut around the edges. (Use little scissors for this like the ones that come on Swiss army knives) I only tapped the the shaft of the right plug orange, so I would know whats up. I then tapped the left one white, just because I didn't want any grey to show.
This is the finished project.

I don't know if this has been done before, but if you have done something similar post some pictures.....DO NOT POST THE 'BLACK' 'PHONES FROM THE hackaday SITE SINCE I HAVE SEEN THEM ALREADY, PLENTY OF TIMES.
