My Ipod doesn't seem to want to mount as a device under MacOS 10.2.6
I can get it up as a firewire drive under OS9 (on another machine that's only OS9)
Everytime that I put it into the cradle it goes into diagnostic HD scan mode. Runs the Scan and then says "do not disconnect". It starts to recharge but the device doesn't show up on the desktop or in iTunes. I expect the device to show up in iTunes since I did have it working properly two days ago. I have no idea what I need to do to get it to run properly.
I would love to find a fix since it works fine when it's not plugged in. It even recharges. It just doesn't mount as a firewire device or update new tunes.
Has anyone run into this? Do I need to send it back to the shop
I've tried the menu/play restart. Nothing happens, everything stays the same.
I don't care if I loose the data. I'll just reup my tunes. he data is still on my machine.
Thanks
