I bought these two hoping that they would serve as a replacement for my Koss KSC-35, but sadly it doesn't. Slic Sounds (http://www.slicsound.com/) are supposed to make wearing ear buds more comfortable. It did make the MX400s more comfortable to wear, but it muted the high treble sound so the music coming from the earbuds sounded "muddy". In the end, my Koss KSC-35s are still the best for me.
