I now have two pairs of the Sony MDR-888s and am FINALLY quite satisfied with these buds - much much better than the standard iPOD buds.......
My question to you.........I have a change to pick up a pair of the E2c this week for a extremely low price.........how do they compare to the 888s? I'm interested in the depth of the bass and the volume generated by the E2cs..........THANKS
The 888's are reviewed here (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_more.php?id=1169_0_6_0_M) and the E2's are reviewed here (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_more.php?id=1060_0_6_0_M).

I wasn't going to bother......
I would only say that the 888 review to which Madpict points is lukewarm and sketchy, giving little real or useful information. If anyone wants to know about the 888, a search on these fora will produce more than enough information.
But this bloke already has E888s, so he needs info on the Shure, which I don't own, and have limited experience of.

ok point taken jacko, just know how much you luuurve your 888's though. In a few years you'll be a legend here: "Anyone like those 888's?" - "god no, don't say it that's *panic-stricken voice* the number of the beast, the one named jackonicko...."
