Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. just tried to update my ipod firmware (ipod color 60G) by following the recommended steps to upgrade to the latest release 2006-01-10 version... Result is:

My ipod will no longer connect with anything (itune nor the firmware update program)
It is stuck in some "charging" mode where it displays an image of the wall charger with the USB cable (some gif image). What ever I do (even tried the RESET) it shows this image and wont do anything else.

i am out of options here and in real need for help... anyone had a similar problem?
