Well yeah just what the topic says... I already own a mini, but yeah that cant fit half of my music, let alone videos or anything. Im quite intrigued about the video the fact i can put movies on it which is a great bonus of course and would come in handy since im going away to university in the fall. Great to put a few episodes of a tv show on it and while im waiting for a class change over or not enuff time to go back to rez and then to my next class, nothing like sitting down and putting on a tv show. So yeah im curious on what are the pros and cons about it? Im looking at purchasing it closer to spring time... Im going to be purchasing an ibook as well for school. I see the 60 gig fit, because once i hit school in the fall, i know i will have a lot of videos along with music.

The cons are physical size (compared to like a Nano) and the price. Mine was $400. That's a lot of money for a "toy". I use it as a portable hard drive too though.

It's funny I find myself complaining about the size though.... I'm 25 therefore had walkmans/discmans my whole life until now. The size shouldn't be complained about really.

The video thing is fricking awesome.... I'm using Handbrake to convert my DVD's over for pod use. The crappy thing is it's very time consuming. It averages about 6 hours to do when ripping with high quality. I think the Pod compressed size puts it down to about 400mb if I remember? I don't recall (can't check now, I'm my work computer)

Im not too picky about size... If you think about it, they arent "that" big... Like i own a mini, a video isnt that much bigger. Yeah for me its 500. Im hoping as spring rolls around there may be a price decrease... The price is such a pain tho..
