I posted the same question over a week ago and no one has answered. Can't one of the moderators help with this. It can't be that difficult for the experienced to answer this question.
Thanks

I never Sync my music with iPod. I created a separate folder for music I want to transfer to the iPod. After I transfer exactly what I want I either move the files to their permanent home or delete the ones I do not want to keep. Therefore, I never have a problem with music doubleing up or other issues as you mentioned. I guess then what needs to be done is download EphPod twice, name them differently and use one with iPod A & the other for iPod B. Is this basically what you are suggesting?

We are trying to get 1 pc to be able to work with 2 different ipods [at different times], do we really need to instal ephpid twice ?
help help please
Just don't set Ephpod to automatically sync. Then I believe you should be able to use two ipods.
So, for example, put all your songs in one folder and turn off automatic syncing in Ephpod. Plug one in, manually put all the songs you want from that folder on to your ipod. Then do the same with the second.
Doensn't this work??

My son owns an old generation 5GB iPod. I'm thinking of buying a new one. We share an iMAC running OS X Jaguar and iTunes. What is meant by "managed playlists"? Will this allow me to distinguish in one copy of iTunes between his and my playlists so we only synch. to our own iPod? Any advice on setting up would be useful. I need to know it's possibl before I buy No. 2.
Many thanks,
Denis
Gert is right, just don't auto sync your songs and you should be right. I use the same computer and same ephpod that my brother uses for 2 different iPods.
