Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Hello!
Im a noob on here so firstly hi to all!
Ive had my iPod for about 6 months, no problems at all. Ive recently brought a new car and an FM transmitter to go with it.
It seems to work great with some song, but it gives huge amounts of distortion on others. Ive tried reducing the gain with mp3gain but still on joy.
One thing ive found out is that if I turn sound check ON, the songs that sound great get distorted too. Its really strange! It seems that AAC files play at a much nicer level than mp3. would this be down the high amounts of control the ipod have over the volume when using an AAC?
My transmitter plugs into the bottom of the iPod. I gather from reading other posts this is the line out, is there a way to reduce the volume of the line out for all the ipods songs?
Any help or advice would be great!
Cheers.
