New Coldplay CD w/DRM?

I saw a link in David Pogue's column on NYT online about Coldplay's new CD will arrive with DRM and won't play on the MAC's, rip to MP3's, etc. What new CD do they have coming out? Is it a new version of X&Y? I bought X&Y when it came out, and it ripped fine.

They have no new CD coming out. Could it be an old article?

I wonder if it's a re-release of X&Y. I saw it mentioned on Huffington.com, which linked to a NY Times article dated 1/7/06 and the link to BoingBoing is dated 12/30/05, so I think it's current.

It might mean that it X&Y with out DRM. The sony DRM doesn't work on macs
