according to a sales representive from apple, video output is only possible through the headphone-jack.
Actually I think this guy has no idea.
I mean, you buy a damn-expensive universal dock and you can't use its line-out for watching videos? I can't believe this.
Perhaps it was understood wrong.
I'm asking because we want a alpine-adapter (kca420i) and Line-out integration in our car.
I thought of a integration with a dock like this:
dock connector ------ Line-Out
I-----------------------I
KCA 420i -------------A/V cable
I-----------------------I
AI-net-in -------------RCA-in
Anyone tried something like this?
The Dock-connector would have to be disconnected when watching videos, wouldn't it?
