After much research on this site and others, I ordered my Ice>Link Plus from densionusa.com and i have downloaded numerous types of instrustions for install, but i couldn't find answers for these two questions:

1.) do you absolutely need to disconnect the battery to install? I have my radio code somewhere, but i would prefer not to disconnect, enter code, etc.

2.) is it necessary to install a ground loop isolator with the ice>link plus? I have read it was strongly suggested, but not necessary for ice>link v1.0 and 1.1 because it cuts out the engine noise. Will it make that much of a difference with the "plus"

Thanks in advance!

I don't have XM, so the install will be that much easier.

I have a UK 2005 Accord with the Dension Ice>link. This appears to be exactly the same model & head unit as US Accords.
I installed it myself and did not disconnect the battery. I saw no need as all I did was plug it into the CD changer socket on the head unit when the power was off.
I did not install a ground loop either. I assumed that the ice>link would already be appropriately earthed via the cd changer socket. I have not had any issues with my installation.
