Does anyone know of a cassette adapter that will work in Chevrolet/GM tape decks, or tricks to make them work. I have tried the Monster iCarPlay and the Griffin Smartdeck, neither of them work. Is there a way to disable the auto-reverse feature that these tape players use? I deperately want to use my iPod in the car but it my luck hasn't been good so far.

What year/model truck do you have?
I have a old Sony cassette adapter in my 03 Lade and works real well.
In my wifes 05 Trailblazer we have the Belkin (which by the way doesn't sound good in my truck) and it works real well. That stupid iCarPlay wouldn't even stay in the deck in the Trailblazer. Left the Apple store and tried it in the parking lot and 5 minutes later we were getting our money back.

FWIW, I finally had success with the Belkin Cassette Adapter (F8V366-APL). The tape decks in my two Chevy's don't auto-eject this one. Sound quality is a little degraded, but it'll work.
