Griffin SmartDeck Compatibility

I have recently purchased a SmartDeck (dock connector) adapter to use in my factory car stereo 2004 Toyota Camry. I have been unable to get the device to work. Once inserted it will randomly pause, FF and RW without me touching the radio controls or ipod controls. I am using it with a new 5G Video iPod. I wanted to let others know that the SmartDeck with a factory 2004 Toyota Camry car stereo does not work.

Maybe we should start a list of compatible cars or car stereo's that do work since Griffin Technology does not list them.

have you flipped the switch that goes from scanto skip? This worked on mine as far as playback goes, but the functions still do not work.
