Ehhhhh.. A few nights ago I went out to Best Buy looking for an iPod intergration kit for my 1998 Lexus GS300. Out of the three-four brands I saw NONE of them had it for my car, but two of them were for Toyota and I thought that it would work. So I bought the "iPod 2 car" kit for 200 bucks. The next day I took out my radio and tried installing it. None of the connections it came with worked on my car. I have searched on google and can't seem to find an ything. Has anyone done some kind of costom install on their Lexus? Thanks.

I know someone with a '98 Lexus who had the whole display on the radio burn out so all you see is greenish black with no characters. Since it's got 200K miles on it, he didn't want to spend a lot on upgrading but discovered it's almost impossible to put in an aftermarket CD player without tearing out EVERYthing for about $1000. The adapters just aren't available... at least that's what Best Buy told him. So he's playing a nano through a cassette adapter. Sounds okay, and he doesn't need to see the radio display to control it. He drives my car when he wants to hear an aftermarket head unit. I'm jealous of his tweeters though!
