I have a new nano and i am running win98, but i want to use my ipod with it. is there solutions? i am new, so take it easy on me

You can't run iTunes on Win98, if I remember correctly, but you can get plug-ins for programs like Winamp etc that will allow them to copy to your Nano.

i need a temporary solution untill i save up enough to get a new computer, links would be appreciated

You should try the search feature of the forums. The Audiobook part has been answered many many times. See this thread: forums.ipodlounge.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66817

And you can use files from this site as drivers for Windows 98: win98.drivers.w.interia.pl/ipod.html

You could also Google a bit and see what else you can find.

yes, winamp is probably the most popular software for itunes replacement. i'm not sure about getting photos onto it though. As i've never used an ipod in winamp.

im 16 and i cant afford to pay for it, i got no job and my mom works 3 jobs. theres no way i can pay for it

Hey There sounds like your really desperate. If you email me at cowman777@gmail.com i can send you the driver for free. As for photo sync i beleive it it possible with the new Anapod photo sync. And if you want to transfer songs I reccomend you use MusicMatch version 9.0 and the latest medimonkey. You can use Mediamonkey to transfer your songs and tag them with album art and lyrics. You can use MusicMatch to rip songs from Cd's! By the way have you visited Michale Hobot's website? Google search ipod driver + win 98 and it should be the first thing to pop up. Follow the steps on his website and you should be set. I also use an ipod nano on windows 98 and everything is okay. The only thing different is that it is a removable disk drive
