Tell us what you think about the new forums:
There are several forum categories, and several subforums in each. What do you think about the categorization of our new forums?

I think the categories are perfectly fine. :D
Catagories are just about perfect.

I really like this new look. Search engine is a lot better too.
I'm not sure if this would be useful. I've been to some other forum before where they have a section specifically dedicated to address newbie questions.
what do you guys think?

I like that idea since I'm a newbie. Otherwise I think the forums are just right!

Great place to be. I'm enjoying browsing around. All the categories really do help you decide exactly what you want to read about at a certain time, though it really does make you think sometimes before posting. For example I posted a problem that my smartplaylist didn't show up on my ipod correctly. I thought this was appropriate under ipod problems, but a moderator moved it to an itunes discussion category. Sounds fine. Fits there too. As long as you don't mind that some people are going to have a broader range of where they think their particular post belongs and you might have to move things around from time to time, I think it is just right.
You guys are doing a great job.

I like the way they are setup... I like that there are many, so you don't have to decide which category to make your post. I like all of them because they have very good titles. :)

I think their are actually too many categories.
This is probably why we're always getting a huge influx of repeated questions, and irrelevant threads.

definitely too many categories, you can easily cut 2-3 of them.

I think I would just consolidate all the categories in the Music section... Just make one 'General' Section, as there really isnt any need for all four categories.
In the windows section, there really isnt any need for 'Moodlogic', as I think this would just fall under the 'Software section'.
In the General Section, is there really any need for an 'iPod Polls' category? I mean people will start a poll in any category regardless, so setting a category for just polls seems kind of redundant if you ask me.
As well, I would prefer to have the two categories of 'Ipod Problems' and 'Service/Warranty/Repair' consolidated into just one completely new category, as both can kind of have the same type of questions.
