The new iTunes version sux

So the new iTunes version seems to have a lot of fun crashing my 3 Gen iPod anytime I try to upload songs to it. How can I get rid of that extremely mediocre version and install the previous version back?

We are talking about iTunes 6.

Can somebody please tell me where I can download iTunes 5?

iTunes is pretty much the same as version 5. Try 4.9

Any time I try to start that iTunes version (4.9) it says "the file iTunes Library.itl can't be read because it was created by a newer iTunes version"

I can't start the older iTunes, I'm really hating that stupid iTunes 6, it's so annoying that I don't think I'll ever update that stupid program again.
