I was just wondering if there is any way to transfer music between two ipods if none of the music is saved in the library, or if I would have to find a way to transfer all music to the library first. I'm not sure how to do either, so any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, I'm having trouble comprehending what you're trying to say.
1. Are the iPods empty or full of music? What model are they?
2. Are you trying to share the library?
If you are trying to share the existing computer library, then just plug in both and transfer the songs onto both iPods. If you want different songs, just set it to manual transfers and drag in the songs you want to add.

Okay let me try to explain this again... I don't have any music saved in my library however I do have music on my ipod (from using it on a different computer in the past) and the same thing goes for my friends ipod. So I was wondering if there was a way to transfer some of her songs onto my ipod, even though none of the music is in her library. Hopefully this makes sense, I'm new to all this stuff

Sorry, you cannot transfer songs between two iPods but you can transfer the songs from the iPod to a computer.
