Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. running Windows XP Pro x64 on Dell Precision.
iTunes installs OK and connects with (video) ipod but does some funny things:

1. I have about 4500 tracks; itunes shows a total of over 15,000 with most appearing four times: twice with just title of song and twice with title of song plus artist (all my tracks are named with title and artist).
2. if I delete playlists (such as 90's Music) they reappear when itunes next loaded
3. synching ipod puts about 7500 tracks on with most appearing twice (once with full title/artist, once with title only)
3. sometimes the Library list has about half of the tracks labelled as not avaialble - next time they are all shown as available.
4. smart playlists are synch'd to ipod but disapper when itunes next loaded
5. only podcasts subscribed via itunes shop stay - those entered with the URL (Advanced/Subscribve to Podcast) disappera next time itunes is loaded.

Anyone else seen this behaviour? Anyone runnig ituens succesfully on x64??
thanks

I think I read that the ipod doesn't work very well with the x64 version of windows theirs something wrong with it.
