My ipod is a old black and white 40 gb IPOD. My problem is i can not get my ipod to work on usb 2.0, I have to disable my usb enhanced host controller and make it usb 1.1 to have it work.
When it is in usb 2.0, it shows up as a removable disk and when I double click it, it gives me this error.
"I:\ is not accessible.
The request could not be performed because of an I/O error."
It was originally H drive, but i renamed it, and it still didnt work.
I use SIS PCI to USB Enhanced host controller, and a NEC usb 2.0 Root Hub, and it says it is self powered. I run Windows XP SP2, with Asus P4S533-E motherboard.
