looking for my first ipod. Only need it for music, would be nice to play in car, not a necessity, nano/mini or older even, just been reading online about the different types. thanks in advance

i'd say go somewhere with a 30,40,60gb 3rd generation. or a black and white 4th generation. or a color screened ipod is fine. however if you plan on buying the 5th generation that's cool. you can probably find the 3rd generation ipods on ebay. the 4th generation ipods are still lurking around stores, and a few internet sites.
